Laboratory

Lab 1

Viewing specimens under microscope.

You will be given several slides to look at.  You are to observe them - under at least 3 magnifications - and sketch them in your lab book or lab sheets.  Remember to label the magnification and the name of the specimen.

Lab 2

Making a wet mound.

You will be given a blank glass microscope slide, and you are to make a wet mound of a specimen I will give you.  You are then to observe it - under at least 3 magnifications - and sketch it in your lab book or lab sheets.  Remember to label the magnification and the name of the specimen.

Lab 3 - Practical Lab Exam

You will be tested, practically, on Labs 1 and 2.  This means you will be given several unnamed slides and you will need to identify them.  You will also have to make a wet mound without instructions, thus an EXAM.
